We wanted to share with you that Tim Delaney’s comments have been shared as part of an article in the North Bay Biz Magazine on retirement planning!
Now, they stuck his picture way down on the last page, but if you take the time to read the article (and of course we think you should), you’ll find Tim’s sage advice sprinkled liberally throughout.
It’s a good read for a person of any age, whether you’re nearing your retirement or whether it’s still a twinkle in your eye. There are a lot of calculators you can find that will tell you one thing or another. It’s usually along the lines of, “Sock away this percentage of your income based on having this much in savings already at such-and-such an age.”
The truth is, there’s no magic formula. Planning for your retirement has to be tailored to your own goals and realities.
