October is Financial Planning Month

Budget. Review your expenses and see where you can save. Eating at home, skipping that specialty coffee….little savings add up.

Pay bills on time. Interest, penalty fees or hits on your credit…all avoidable!

Save. A little adds up over time. If you have a 401k with an employer match, contribute to the maximum allowed.

Have a garage sale. If you have unused items in your home, sell it.

Doesn’t sell? Donate. Donations can be a deduction on your taxes but you must have a receipt.

See a financial advisor. Their goal is to help you prep for retirement and begin saving today!
